The Edmund Ooi Spring & Summer 2015 collection provides a new intake on two basic menswear items, the classic suit and the iconic white shirt. Both were thoroughly studied and deconstructed to be re-constructed later with an alternative yet highly meticulous cut. The classic form of the suit was narrowed, to show off a slim silhouette and the backside was provided with graphical blocking, which enhances the shape of the body. The shirt was left white, its most recognizable color, but was thermofilmed to give a crispness and flatness to the item, resulting in a strong and geometrical piece without restricting the movement of the body.

A combination of geometrical cuts and well-thought out patterns in combination with experimental yet high quality materials is a leitmotif which makes the brand stands out. Customized jacquards were made in collaboration with Malhia Kent and are exclusive to the SS15 collection. Pairing futuristic elements with classical menswear gives men the chance to explore different identities and hopes to inject a light element into their day-to-day wardrobe.
