For the introduction of Jil Sander’s dynamic View Bag, Hunger Magazine created this moody and mysterious fashion lm and accompanying stills shoot.
With the launch of a new shape for the German fashion house’s iconic bag, all the focus was on movement and precision.
This became Hunger Creative Director Vicky Lawton’s inspiration for her lm, Point of View. “The lm is all about doing something abstract and owing in motion,” she said. “It not only brings the qualities of the bag to life in a beguiling way but I wanted it to stand alone as a provocative piece in its own right”.
It features model Emily Meuleman climbing out of a plinth in an after-hours gallery space and proceeding to perform sensual, choreographed movements.
The lm is intercut with dark shadows and macro shots of cut owers, adding to the surreal tone of

the tale. It is a tale of the unexpected, perfectly em- bodying the qualities that Jil Sander want to evoke from the bag.
