It is a rather intriguing challenge for a fashion designer to give his artistic ideas flesh and bones by creating clothing that balances both the aura of the moment and at the same time his own unique vision and aesthetics.

Dogs, bags and fetishistic minimalism are the immediate comments with which i laid my mind all over the emerging swiss designer’s gracefully deconstructed dog walkers.

The subtle ironic commentary connecting the relationship of a woman and her dog with that she has with a bag or an accessory, might really hid much more than one would expect. The mirror of our self, our hopes, dreams and wallets, both seem to reach the deeper status of a fetish for our souls and minds. Of course the bizarre ideas of Zwick’s conceptual approach would be nothing without his geometric oversized shirts, white pants and long dresses.

At the end one thing is certain, wether you are a cat or a dog person Marco Zwick’s clean “couture de la rue” is a prior example of honest, fun and artistic 21st century fashion, that can’t go unnoticed.
