On June 3rd, 2016 Middlesex University will be presenting 16 carefully selected Fashion Design and Fashion Textiles collections to the industry and media at the Vinyl Factory Soho.The candidates have been shortlisted by Kim Howells – Stylist consultant for the 2016 show and Fashion Director at Hunger, and an industry panel of judges including:
- Ashley Deverell – Marketing Manager at K-Swiss,
- Ben Cottrell & Matthew Dainty – design duo of Cottweiler
- Kylie Griffiths – Fashion Editor-at-Large at Vice
- Fashion Consultant Leanne Elliott
- Zowie Broach – Head of Fashion at the Royal College of Art.

Middlesex University has a long standing commitment to nurturing the future of British fashion, and for the third time the 2016 Live Catwalk Communication Campaign has been organized by a team of Fashion Communication and Styling students, supervised by industry Fashion PR and Production Professionals together with Middlesex’s Fashion team.

The director of programmes, Meg Osborne stated:
“Our BA Fashion Programmes create young, exciting, talented designers and image makers, who are industry ready. Our students excel in both skills and imagination and we represent the best of London’s emerging talent.
Our renowned Industry panel has recognised our innovative womenswear and the strength of our menswear, with their perfect balance of textiles and design, along with the images produced by our stylists and photographers representing the zeitgeist in contemporary culture.
At Middlesex we encourage and enable students to challenge the preconceptions of identity with our state of the art facilities, supported by our energetic and relevant teaching and technical staff.”
