Victor Nouman is an up and coming Spanish fashion designer that started just in 2014 and has managed in that really short amount of time to put a bold and well composed personal voice out into the runway.
His approach is an interdisciplinary take on what it’s suppose to mean to be a man in the 21st century, told in an interesting new manner through simple and refined cuts, clean structured shapes and a basic color pallet of blacks, shades of beige and orange.
His AW15 collection, baring the title ActII, is exactly what it’s suggested, the next act of his fashion play, a charming monologue of a boy in love, that so desperately demands to be heard, calling us to follow him and observe his journey. Long pants, oversized shirts, bomber jackets and cool deep black coats, all build a collection that’s all about personal expression, bold choices, love and masculinity.
And here is perhaps where one could trace Norman’s fresh point of view, in his approach of what a man is, or should be, a tender creature of the wild, a kind wolf, a gentle savage or even a lonely boy talking about his hopes and dreams staring us with amaze and excitement whilst waiting what it s to come.
